Fanny Logan continued her up curve when completing a hat-trick of wins in The company at Yarmouth at the EBF Stallions John Musker Fillies’ Stakes.
Having completed second on her debut the John Gosden-trained three-year-old went one better by backing up recent victories at Salisbury and York using a success in the prize.
Overcoming the draw in stall 16, the girl of Sea The Stars hit the front approaching the final furlong before easily hastening clear to conquer Bighearted by three seasons.
Rab Havlin, riders of the 6-5 winner, stated:”It was a tricky attraction. I used to be in supporting three wide and I had been very happy there, however as they thinned out, I finished up two off the fencing that was ideal and I had a great clear run around to be honest.
„She had been the course filly coming to the race and hammering any hiccups or poor visitors, we thought she was going to do that and that’s what has happened.
„She went past the two and when I pushed her, she promptly responded and only kept at it.
„I think it’s an upgrade on Salisbury because she was still somewhat raw there and wished to pull for her head running up the hill and we hit some soft earth round the bend and then stopped her today she dropped her mind right away.
„I believe ground was perfect for her and I think a mile and a quarter is her excursion for now.”
Joseph O’Brien saddled his two runners in the track with Cnoc An Oir finishing best of his pair more than five lengths back .
Tom Marquand, rider of Cnoc An Oir, said:”She ran well, but regrettably she only got touched away for this bit of black type they were after. It was a run the same. Hopefully Joseph will attract a few more over here”
